  • How does a Centrifugal Fluidics Photometer work?
    This device works as follows: A water sample is collected from the pool or spa and prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. The prepared sample is placed into single-use disk with chemical agents The disk is inserted into the photometer. The photometer emits specific wavelengths of light through the sample. The photometer measures the amount of light absorbed or transmitted by the sample, which corresponds to the concentration of the chemical being tested (e.g., chlorine, pH, alkalinity). The device's internal software processes the light data and calculates the concentration of the chemical The photometer is designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements, reducing the potential for human error associated with manual color-based test kits.
